For payments to EU countries, it is necessary to provide an IBAN (Foreign bank Account Number) and BIC (Bank Identified Code, i.e. S.W.I.F.T)
FIT 4.0 - Fast Intragroup Transfer
Payments are made within Erste Group and services are available to members in the following countries: Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia.
Why FIT 4.0?
Use this special service from Erste Group for low-cost daily transfers from abroad between accounts of participating banks.
Customer benefits are as follows:
- Payments are made on the same day.
- This type of transfer is cheaper and faster than non-Erste Group transfers.
- Special tariffs apply whenever the conditions for FIT 4.0 payments are met.
- This service is available regardless of the amount transferred.
- This service is available to all types of clients.
Foreign bank commission will not be charged!
How does FIT 4.0 work?
The client issues a payment order by 3 p.m. for the EUR currency and by 11 a.m. for the USD currency, provided that all data is correct and complete. The amount is debited from the payer's account and credited to the payee's account on the same day if both accounts are at the banks that belong to the banking group and offer FIT. In other words, users receive the payment on the same day.
Conditions for Using this Service
- Payer and payee must have accounts with partner banks participating in FIT.
- This relates to payments in EUR and USD:

- Orders can be submitted electronically until 3:00 p.m. so that the transaction can be processed on the same day.
- payment in USD:
- Orders can be executed electronically until 3:00 p.m. so that the transaction can be processed on the same day.
- In the event of exceptions, you will be notified by your account manager.
