Who May Apply?
The young up to 35 years of age with the residence in the territory of the towns and municipalities: Niš, Merošina, Doljevac, Gadžin Han, Leskovac, Novi Sad, Beočin, Sremski Karlovci, Temerin, Gornji Milanovac, Čačak, Kraljevo, Vrnjačka Banja, Raška, Subotica, Sombor, and Kanjiža.
The young recorded at the National Employment Service as well the young up to 30 years of age will have an advantage in the course of the selection.
How to Apply
Filled in application forms are to be sent by e-mail, with reference “Application for Business Ideas”, to e-mail address firstname.lastname@example.org or by mail to the address SMart kolektiv, Alekse Nenadovića 34, 11000 Belgrade
The selection of the received business ideas will be made by the commission comprised of the representatives of SMart kolektiv, National Employment Service, Erste Bank, Ministry of Youth and Sport, and USAID Sustainable Local Development project.
The commission will primarily evaluate the business ideas and motivation of the applicants to involve in the programme and start up own business. Besides, the commission will also evaluate applicant skills and experience. The selected applicants will be electronically notified.
Three-day training “The Idea Matters at the Beginning” will be organised for the selected applicants, which will enable them to review and improve their business ideas. The applicants who successfully undergo this training will have the opportunity to learn how to set up and manage an enterprise at two-day training of the National Employment Service “Route to Successful Entrepreneur”.
Free of charge support of the consultant of “Youth Business Serbia” will be available to the applicants who undergo all of the trainings, which will help them improve their business plans and be prepared for the selection panels which will give recommendation to Erste Bank for the crediting of the best business plans. The selection panels will be organised during February 2013. Business set up and the finance of the best business plans through “Superstep” credit line is planned in March 2013.

“Youth Business Serbia” is a comprehensive support programme for economic strengthening of the young intended for supporting young people, through the development of entrepreneurship and operational practices, to achieve economic progress and start up own business. It has originated as the partner initiative of SMart kolektiv, Erste Bank, and National Employment Service, including the financial support of USAID Sustainable Local Development Project and the Ministry of Youth and Sport.
