How does FIT 2.0 work?
The customer places the payment order electronically until 15.00 for EUR and until 11.00 for USD with the precondition that all
data is correct and complete. Paperbased payments can be ordered according to the cut off time of the local bank. The amount
is debited from the payer's account and credited to the beneficiary's account on the same day if both accounts are held within
banks belonging to the banking group and offer FIT 2.0. In other words, the beneficiary receives the amount on the same day.
Requirements to use the service
The payer and the beneficiary must have accounts with participating banks.
The payment transaction must be denominated in EUR and USD. *Payment in EUR:
The payment must be placed electronically until 15:00. *Payment in USD:
The payment must be placed electronically until 11:00.
The cut-off time for paperbased transactions are set locally.
